Solar Calorimeter Testing
Getting Started

Getting Started in Calorimeter testing is very easy!

Just follow these steps:

  1. Determine if you desire NFRC certification. If so, proceed to the next step. If it is not for NFRC certification, please proceed to STEP 4.
  2. Gather the required information for NFRC Certification.
       – a. Detailed extrusion and sectional drawings of your product
       – b. Bill of materials for your product
  3. Be sure the size of your product meets NFRC standard sizes:
          Skylight 47” x 47”
          Block Window 39” x 39”
          Tubular Daylight Device 14” diameter
          Garden Window 59” x 47”

  5. Call Tyler Westerling at 559-233-8705 to schedule your Solar Heat Gain Test
  6. We recommend you ship your product to our laboratory as soon as possible even if your test date is not imminent. This will allow us to put your product into a testing slot if one becomes available earlier than your scheduled test date.
