CAD OPERATOR / TECHNICIAN

Job Description and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a CAD Operator / Technician at our York, Pennsylvania corporate headquarters.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Create Test Chamber CAD drawings prepared from building architectural drawings
- Assist with CAD drawings related to engineering projects and new equipment designs
DUTIES include:
- Prepare and revise test chamber drawings for mock-up tests as required using AutoCAD
- Provide AutoCAD sketches as required for test reports and engineering reports
- Work with CAD systems creating, modifying and releasing drawings
- Update personal knowledge and skills necessary to remain current with industry as it develops
- Observe test chamber construction and/or testing to gain knowledge and experience for chamber design purposes
- Assist with tests per ASTM and AAMA test methods upon request
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to prepare and modify CAD drawings as needed in a timely and professional manner
- Must be able to work closely with staff and clients to obtain information or ensure drawing accuracy
- Must be able to self-check own work for completeness and accuracy
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be a self-starter
- Must be detail-oriented
